Horseshoe Reservoir is losing roughly 500 acre-feet of storage capacity per year to sedimentation, per Bureau of Reclamation estimates. SRP and 23 partners are advancing a $33 million feasibility study for a new Bartlett Dam, with a draft EIS due in July 2026 and a final report targeted for 2027.
